Course Description

This parenting course is a four-(4) hour course intended for divorcing parents with children or those with a paternity case. This course is a Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) approved Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course.  You work at your own pace. The course is designed to educate, train, and assist divorcing parents in regards to the impact of divorce or separation on parents and children as required by Florida Stature Chapter 61.21, F.S. The content of this course is based on a review of research findings related to post-divorce adjustment, co-parenting and the effects of divorce on children.

Hi! I'm Maggie Dulcio and I live in Florida.  I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Certified Addiction Professional, a Parenting Coordinator and a Family Mediator among other things:-).I've been practicing in the field of Counseling for close to 20 years.  I work with families, couples and children.  I'm the owner and founder of Oasis Counseling, LLC.  At Oasis Counseling, we provide individual, family, couples and group therapy to adults and children.I enjoy teaching others how to live a healthy lifestyle and how to achieve some balance in their life.  I also work with families teaching parenting and co-parenting skills.  I have been teaching a live parenting course and have decided to bring that course to the online community.  The parenting course is DCF approved and once participants pass the end of course exam with a 70% or better, they will get their certificate of completion.
